My love of beads
began 17 years ago and has increased through time. Experimenting
with many different materials, color combinations and techniques
is a daily form of exercise for me. I love to design and teach.
My career was teaching and it’s as much fun to teach adults to
bead as it was to teach children, I’ve found.
My work has been
sold at juried art shows, in boutiques and galleries since 1995.
I teach at local bead stores and in my home studio, and have
taught at national shows, including Embellishment, Bead and
Button, Jewelry Arts Expo, Wine Country Glass Art and Bead
Festival, and Bead Fest Philadelphia. Bead Fest Miami will join
the list in April, 2008. Publications which include my designs
include my book, Wire Knitting. . . On a Spool, Making
Bead & Wire Jewelry, and Bead Unique Magazine Winter 2007.
