This tour offers you a comprehensive view of the island, combining visits to cultural and historical sites with delightful breaks at spots of unique natural beauty. The visit of Achilleion Palace will include the same highlights as in CG04 - Achilleion Palace, Perama and Old Town.

Leaving Achilleion Palace, your coach proceeds to one of the most beautiful spots on the island, much celebrated for its unique natural beauty, the Bay of Paleokastritsa, known as the Capri of Greece. You will circumvent the bay and drive uphill for a visit to the Byzantine Monastery of the Virgin, still inhabited by a community of monks. Its small museum houses priceless Byzantine icons and church relics. From the monastery's gardens, you have views over the beautiful bays of the area with their crystal-clear turquoise water and rocky promontories. Leaving Paleokastritsa, your coach will return to Corfu Town for you to visit the historic center of this elegant old town for independent exploration. You will have time for shopping and a leisurely stroll before returning to the coach for your transfer back to the port.

Note: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1.5 miles over even and uneven surfaces, inclines and 20 - 30 steps. Guests may experience long lines while waiting to visit the Achilleion Palace. Time permitting; guests will have approximately 30 minutes for browsing and shopping in Old Town. A strict dress code is enforced at the Monastery. Short pants, tank tops and revealing clothing are not acceptable
